i sit here in this chair.
this screen shines back at me.
destroying my night vision.
unlike the deep reds that flash up and down and side around.
this light is a game.
it changed my name.

i tap,tap,tap away at these tiny finger-tip sized keys.
they make the most annoying sound.

they're so imperfect.
much like me.i'm an inperfectionist.
this screen glows at me in the darkness of the black room i am in.
but still the phone...
the damn annoying son of a bitch ringing.
that shreaking bastard screams
as if i am unable to hear at all.
i look at the screen.
but it isn't her
so i don't care to answer it.
it's my cell phone.
my cell phone hasnt held painful conversations.
unlike the white chordless phone
that sits on it's stand
of misanthropy.
this did hold bad conversations.
but still this screen is flashing.
