Voices that oppose God's sovereignty. Voices that arose as the enemy of humility. Inflicting not lovers of carnality but seekers of morality. Voices of lies and sadness. Seeds breathing maladies and madness. For this is the enemy's apparatus. Exalting his false supremacy. Spitting on your heart of fervency. Lying to you with a sense of urgency. Voices of condemnation. Voices of subtle incisions, made with precision to cause division. To confuse you and accuse you that your passions are your transgressions. Voices of confusion. Voices of emotion. Voices of desire. Desires inquiring. Inwardly conflicting. Afflicting the soul. Distracting. Attracting and indictment of momentary excitement. Thoughts and memories. Unhealed histories. Nostalgia we can't forget, returning with frustration of needs unmet. Leading us into decisions of regret. Flesh and feelings have dangerous dealings. Feelings become a deception, leading even the most devout into transgression. So when emotions voice their commotion, submit your soul into God's control. And take heed, for emotions lead, God's voice is silenced and his Spirit is grieved.
