The kingdom of Heaven is like a man— who sowed good seed in his field (Verse 24)
and while he was sleeping his enemy came—and threw in some darnel too!
When the plants sprouted and formed grain the darnel appeared also (Verse 26)
The servants of the owner came to him and said, did you not sow only good seed?
Where did the darnel shoots come from— An enemy has done this —
Would you—like us to weed them out? No, lest you root up the good!
Let them grow up to gether— until the harvest— (Verse 304)
When I say to the reapers gather the darnel first! Gather the darnel first—
to be burned and gather the wheat next and put them in my granary!
He that sows the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world (Verse 37)
The good means the children of the kingdom, the darnel's of the evil one!
The enemy that sowed it is the devil, the harvest is the close of the age, and of course the reapers—
are angels! And just as the darnel is gathered first— and burned with fire
so it will be at the end of the age when the angels go out to gather!
