When I was just a little girl,no higher than your knee. Mymama had a box of crayons that she gave to me, I picked then up, and opened then up,and looked way down inside and the colors they remind me of Jesus when he died.

Red is the color of the blood that he shed, and brown is for the crown of throns they placed upon his head, blue is for roylity within him many dwell,and yellow is for the christians who are afraid to tell.


So I colored and I colored till the crayons were gone, and now that im much older the mermory lengers on, so when i see a little child with a crayon box in hand, I tell them what it means to me and hope they'll understand.
